The Secret of Rapid Learning; The Psychology of Humour and The Art of Making Lessons Interesting |

| Here is an improved method for learning quickly and accurately. Practical steps and clear guidelines for rapid, accurate learning of anything. The book is based on original research by the author who, along with the American, Irvin Rock, was among the first to challenge the dogma that human learning is based on repetition. (See, "American Journal of Psychology", 1957.) Sadler showed, 1956, that most can quickly master one-trial learning. Sadler's research was rejected by academics at the time. He also made original discoveries concerning the psychology of humour. He published his book in 2007 after finding little improvement in the coverage of learning in modern psychology text books in the 50 years since he did experiments with student volunteers. |
