Cue Racks are a Welcome Necessity in The Billiard Game Rooms

It’s true. Indeed, the cue racks are a welcome necessity to any billiard game room. Bars, pool halls and private billiard facilities always have at least one of these handy billiard supplies around. They are available in a variety of designs that will go nicely with the décor of the place and complement the taste of the game room owners.
Basically, the cue racks can be divided into two types: those that are wall-mounted and the free standing units. Wall-mounted cue racks are perfect to create a background design into one wall of the billiard game room. They can serve as a strong décor to indicate the seriousness of the owner to his billiard fascination. This type of cue rack needs to be anchored to a solid wall by a threaded screw. Gluing it into the wall is not advisable as the frame and its possible contents can be very heavy. If you insist on gluing, it would only come crashing down. A brisk tug on one of the cue sticks can cause it to loosen up quite easily.

Free-standing cue racks are best if you have a wide game room facility. You can use it as a decorative piece, too. There are free-standing cue racks which are clever enough to include a table surface into their designs. They will come in handy for placement of beverages and other necessities.

The purpose of the cue racks is pretty obvious. They mainly house the cue sticks. A cue rack can hold a minimum of 6-8 cue sticks. Depending on the scale of the place, the owner can customize a bigger one to hold a dozen cue sticks and multiple mechanical bridges. More often than not, the cue racks are also designed to organize a lot of billiard supplies. They are equipped with convenient hooks and frames to hold billiard supplies like the triangles, the chalks and the talc powders.
